Today we celebrate the 70th Volume of Haute Music!

Can you guys believe it?! Cause’ I can’t!
A project that started back in 2013 has reached its 70th peak and it’s future looks amazing. For today’s volume I decided to do the craziest mix ever, intertwining reggaetton with mood music, pop and much more (In english & spanish).
Everything started with “Hey Ma” from The Fate of The Furious featuring J. Balvin, Pitbull and Camila Cabello. I loved the song just because Camila and J. Balvin where featured on it. It had nice lyrics in spanglish and two weeks later, “Despacito” feat. Justin Bieber came out and I realized it was 2006 all over again with Spanglish songs dominating the charts (see “Stars are Blind” by Paris Hilton feat. Luny Tunes and Wisin & Yandel).
My intention with this volume is to make you all smile and keep on going strong through this week.

¡Hoy celebramos el 70avo Volumen de Haute Music!

¿Pueden creerlo? ¡Porque yo de verdad aún no!
Lo que comenzó como un simple proyecto en el 2013 ha alcanzado hoy su 70avo escalón y su futuro se pinta increíble. Para el volumen de hoy decidí hacer la mezcla más alocada de todas, combinando reggaetton con música de ambiente, pop y muchos géneros más (En español e inglés).
Todo comenzó con “Hey Ma” del soundtrack de The Fate of The Furious con la participación de J. Balvin, Pitbull y Camila Cabello. Desde su salida, amé la canción sólo por tener a Camila y a J. Balvin en ella. Sus pegajosas letras en español e inglés fueron otro factor de apoyo. Para mi sorpresa, dos semanas después lanzan el remix sopresa de “Despacito” con Justin Bieber y me di cuenta como estábamos reviviendo nuevamenta el 2006 cuando canciones en Spanglish dominaban los charts mundiales (véase “Stars are Blind” de Paris Hilton feat. Luny Tunes y Wisin & Yandel).
Mi intención con este volumen es hacerlos reír, bailar y superar la semana con éxito y orgullo.
